Terms of Use
1. What KŌINIsend is
KŌINIsend is software that helps you send cryptocurrency you already hold, from keys that exist only on your device, to destinations you have verified. It is not an exchange, broker, custodian, money transmitter, or investment service. We never hold, control, or have access to your funds or keys, and we cannot reverse, cancel, or recover a transaction once it is broadcast.
2. Self-custody and irreversibility
Blockchain transfers are final. You are solely responsible for verifying the destination, network, asset and amount before you confirm, and for keeping your device and vault backup safe. KŌINIsend's checks (address validation, network binding, read-back, test sends, Send Live confirmation) are tooling designed to reduce mistakes; they are not a guarantee that a transfer will arrive, be accepted by the recipient, or be recoverable. If you lose your device without a backup, your funds are lost and we cannot help.
3. Fees
Network fees are set by the blockchain and paid by you. KŌINI charges a service fee on sends as shown in the app before you confirm: 0.01% of the amount on Confirmed, Plain and Send Live Plain sends, 0.025% on Send Live Confirmed sends, with a minimum of /bin/bash.10 (or the network's dust limit, if higher) and a maximum of 0 per send. Fees accrue in the app and are settled by you to KOINI's published fee address for that network. The fee schedule may change with notice in the app.
4. Send Live Anywhere subscription
Send Live calls connect directly between devices at no charge. Send Live Anywhere (.99 per month, billed through Apple or Google) adds relayed connectivity for up to 300 relayed minutes per month when a direct connection is not possible. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your App Store or Google Play settings; refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
5. Acceptable use
You must be at least 18 and legally able to hold and transfer the assets you send. You may not use KŌINIsend to violate sanctions or other law, to defraud anyone, or to attack the service. We may rate-limit or refuse relay sessions from devices that abuse them.
6. No advice
Nothing in the app or on this site is financial, legal or tax advice. Cryptocurrency prices shown are reference values from third-party sources and may be inaccurate.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
KŌINIsend is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, KOINI is not liable for any loss of funds, lost transactions, network failures, third-party node or relay outages, or indirect or consequential damages. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
8. Open source and third parties
Parts of the send pipeline are published under open-source licences noted in the app. Blockchain networks, RPC providers, Apple, Google, RevenueCat and Cloudflare are independent services with their own terms.
9. Changes, law, contact
We may update these terms; continued use after a posted change is acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA. Contact: support@koini.io.
